バイクに興味を持ったのは中学生のころ。雑誌「オートバイ」、「モーターサイクリスト」などを飽きずに見ていた。そのころ空冷並列4気筒のHondaCB750が登場。重量車の音といえば、ハーレーや陸王の「ドコン、ドコン、ドコン」、トライアンフ、W1やXSの「タパ、タパ、タパ」など、2気筒の音しか聞こえなかった時代にCB750の「フォン、フォン、フォーン・・・」という音はまさにカルチャーショックだった。すっかり虜になり今に至る。
現在のバイクライフは、掲示板 に紹介中。

I have been interested in motorcycles since I was a Junior High School student. I read motorcycle magagines at that time.
In 1969, the HONDA CB750 was developed. I really liked the sounds that the big motorcycles made, for example the "DOCKN DOCKN" of a Harley-Davidson or the "TAP TAP" of a Triumph. Each of these is the exhaust sound of a twin engine.So the different exhaust sound of the new inline four engine "FON FON FOHHHN" was very fresh for my ears. I soon came to quite love it.

CBとは40年以上のつきあい。その間にはCBを降りた友人のCBが集まり、車庫は一時CB750博物館のようになったことも。今は整理してこのK1だけ。バイクは磨くより乗るのが一番よいメンテナンスです。ピカピカではないですが使いこんだ光を放ち、機械性能は長年のこまめな整備で当然のことながら良好です。(現在324,000Km走行)

My CB750 is a CB750K1(1972). I used to have a few CB750s.I had a Each K0, K1, K2, K4 and many parts for the CB750.But I have only this CB750 now. This CB750's condition is very good. I think that riding is better than polishing for a motorcycle.The mileage is 324,000km now.

通勤用にゲットしました。これがなかなか快適です。なんといっても、収納スペースの豊富なこと。雨具や防寒具に、仕事鞄くらいは楽に収納できます。スーパーでちょっとした買い物もOKです。ツーリングも収納があるのでらくちん。ダッシュボードには無線機もセットしました。
朝から強い雨の日は四輪ですが、通勤はほとんどこれになっています。(現在97,400Km走行)

I bought a scooter for commuting. This scooter is very comfortable and convenient. It has a lot of baggage space.
Although I used a car when it was raining in the morning.Usually I commute by this scooter.The mileage is 97,400km now.

CB750K1は元気ですが、1972年製、高速連続走行や長距離走行など無理をさせるのは心配になってきました。
いずれ新しいCB750(RC42)をと思っていると、モーターショーで2004年モデルが出るとわかり、あわてて落ち着きのある2001モデルを押さえました。
HONDA最後の空冷並列4気筒750、今や750はミドルクラス、丁度いい感最高の魅力的なバイクです。(現在132,900Km走行) RC42アルバム

My CB750 is keeping well. But I'm getting worried that I make him run high speeds or long distances. So I got a new CB750(RC42). The type 2004 CB750 was announced this year, but I prefer #2001 to #2004. Therefore I got the #2001 when I heard that announcement. The CB750 is the the last air-cool 750 moto of HONDA. Also 750 moto is recognized as middle class now. I think the CB750 is better and more lovely moto than the big moto. Because 750 moto has good balance, power and drivability.
